Foods to try in Costa del Sol

The Malaga province has a rich culinary tradition, and there are several local dishes that tourists should try during their visit. Here are some of the recommended local dishes to try in Malaga province:

Espeto de sardinas: This is a popular local dish of grilled sardines that are skewered and cooked over an open fire on the beach. It’s a simple yet delicious dish that captures the essence of Malaga’s coastal cuisine.

Gazpacho: This is a cold soup made from tomatoes, peppers, onions, and other fresh vegetables. It’s a refreshing dish that’s perfect for hot summer days in Malaga.

Porra antequerana: This is a thick, cold soup made from bread, tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil. It’s similar to gazpacho but has a thicker consistency and is served in a bowl instead of a glass.

Migas: This is a traditional dish made from breadcrumbs, garlic, and olive oil. It’s often served with fried pork, chorizo, or other meats and is a hearty meal that’s perfect for the colder months.

Tortilla de camarones: This is a small omelet made with tiny shrimp, flour, and eggs. It’s a popular tapa in Malaga and is often served with a cold beer or a glass of local wine.

Rabo de toro: This is a hearty stew made from bull’s tail that’s slow-cooked with vegetables, herbs, and red wine. It’s a rich and flavorful dish that’s perfect for a cold winter day.

House is perfect for couples and families with children. We have 2 small children ourselves so everything have been designed primarily to meet our needs and we are sure you will be happy too.

We are a Finnish family with 2 children and a little dog. We bought this house in March of 2022 and immediately renovated and equipped it to our needs and demands. The urbanisation itself offered good services, but for remote work and entertainment the house was not that well-equipped. We immediately wanted to change that!

Scandinavian style furniture and other main amenities are one of the main things that we have been taking care of. We also needed to fit our kids in the same bedroom and the ceiling height made it possible to create beautiful sleeping loft to solve that problem. Now one room has 2 queen size beds and quiet space for both of them.

Also the furniture was very bulky and disgusting so we threw all those out and replaced them with something better. Also the terraces were just basically empty and ugly spaces so we fixed those too.

If you happen to choose our home to have a staycation or nice place for a remote work period under the sun, we really think you will enjoy!
